QLD: Plane ditches into water in Whitsundays =2

The spokeswoman said the plane took off from Brampton Island and was veering left when
the engine cut out.

An emergency call was dispatched before the plane plummeted into the water.

The five passengers showed "no visible signs of injury" but they had been taken to
Mackay Hospital as a precautionary measure, the spokeswoman said.
