The West Australian government has welcomed KEVIN RUDD'S new industrial relations plan
.. as a fair alternative to the government's IR changes.

WA Employment Protection Minister MICHELLE ROBERTS says his state's committed to working
with a RUDD government .. to re-establish a fair and flexible industrial relations system.

The federal opposition leader yesterday outlined Labor's new industrial relations plan
.. which requires secret ballots before strike action .. a ban on strike pay and changes
to unfair dismissal rules.
